open4ip got their new web page design by running a design contest:
Awe-inducing webpage for conference call service provider
Check out open4ip's Web page design contest…
We provide audio conference call services to small-medium Businesses all over the world Our customer base is essentially all professional (small businesses, single professionals), yet we offer a fully self-serviced experience as you usually see in B2C situations. We know that very often the person looking for the service is not the business owner but the company office manager or the business owner secretary. They seldom know what conference calls are; they are simply shopping for the service on behalf of their boss. They need to report back on what they found: features, costs, how it works; before they can make the purchase. They are not always internet-savvy, hence having the possibility to download our Pamphlet/Flyer as a take away is important.
Colour: same colour scheme as current, ok to vary the shading/hue if appropriate. Style trend: material design (https://material.io/guidelines/material-design/introduction.html) The point is that we'd like to make it more simple, more visually clean.
Elements to include in the landing page
Everything that is (useful / essential) from the home page of myglobalconference.com - Sign-up box: must include a call to action (e.g. “sign-up” / “get your codes” / “start conferencing now”) must include something that indicates that we do not spam ever. - Special features section: pick the 3-4 best ones and make it visual - Conference call tutorials section - Hangouts integration section - Costs section: price per minute per participant, link to full details, other pricing / billing features - Quicklinks to...: does not need to be a section, these elements need to be quickly accessible to anyone: Services Flyer, Full list of Dial-in numbers, Web Dialer [WebRTC], FAQ - Mobile app preview section: should be clear that customers do not need the app at all to use our service (the app is still in prototype mode by the way…) - Happy customers testimonials: prepare the section, we’ll add 4 testimonials (prepare the pictures) and some company names (~10) - Blog: last 3 blog posts (see example 2 pages down) - Footer: the usual stuff + direct links to the various pages in the website - On-site chat box: the chat box will appear in the lower right hand side of the page, make sure that that area is clear for the chat box to pop-up More detailed info here: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1vtY0ENMj6Ma5vi7nvcKSQ8BAgSIbP_A7kRJTNM-5VyM/edit?usp=sharing
I am looking for your creativity and proactiveness in proposing a home page (landing page) that will Wow the visitor. A great landing page builds instant trust in the business. If the landing page is good, the service provided can only be as good (if not better). Right now our service is flawless, but our site doesn't communicate that... it is clunky and boring.
