The website we want to update is for the Michigan Chapter of the national American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, which was founded in 1962 by highly-regarded domestic relations lawyers "... to encourage the study, improve the practice, elevate the standards and advance the cause of matrimonial law to the end that the welfare of the family and society be protected." There are currently almost 1,600 fellows in 50 states; in Michigan, there are over 40 fellows.

The existing website is old and outdated. Most information from the old, existing website will be included, but in a new, "modern" website which is user friendly. We are looking to update the website to create a prototype for Michigan board members to review and approve. The update should be as elegant as possible, with use of Michigan-related photographs. (At this point, we just want to create a plan to update the graphic design; later, if approved, we will re-build the site).

We DO want to include Michigan themes. The attached picture is an idea, but do not feel limited by it. Since the organization covers the entire state, avoid Detroit-centric photographs and ideas.

The site does not need to be built; at this point, we are just looking to update its graphic design.
