Bronze Horse Statue Tattoo Design

What's your vision?
Seeking an illustrative style tattoo design for my right inner forearm (5x3.5") that captures the details showcased on the bronze horses statues of St. Mark's in Venice. I'm open to the right side pair vertically or all four horizontally (tapered from right to left), and care most about everything from the withers forward (head, neck, shoulder, chest, front legs) in quarter profile. Background can be blank, plain and dark like in some of the photos, or inspired by the loggia in front of which they are positioned on the basilica, as long as it doesn't detract from the horses' features. Prefer black/gray but am very open to seeing how some color could help highlight the details. I love the realistic detailing on these beautiful horses, from the ripple of skin at the chest from the high step, to the wrinkles in their cheek from the invisible bit in their mouth, and the contour of muscles on their neck, and I love classical sculpture style, so those are what I'd like to emphasize most in my tattoo. These horses are called the Horses of St Mark, the Triumphal Quadriga of Venice, or the Quadriga of St Mark's. I've included some photos that capture what I love most about them, and from the kind of perspective I'd like for my tattoo, but feel free to Google for more inspiration. Added some photos of Greek statue designs I love.
