Johannes.ernst got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
T-Shirt: If data is the new oil, I'm an environmentalist.
Check out Johannes.ernst's T-shirt contest…
Somewhere between looking technical, and cartoonish. Prefer to use colors that are technical, or related to the environment.
The T-shirt should have the text "If data is the new oil, I'm an environmentalist." (no quotes) on the front. I'm looking for suitable typography, and some not very complicated art around it that illustrates the text. Ideally the art around it would do something similar to https://thumbs.dreamstime.com/z/binary-background-zero-one-8495598.jpg , but make the ones and zeros look like cut-down trees. (Or some idea like that.) The pun in the text is to make an analogy between environmental destruction/exploitation of nature by companies, and data mining/privacy invasion/big data hoarding by companies. So the illustration should build on that. The focus needs to be on the text, though. My plan is to wear this shirt when attending meetings of people who like to collect data on you and me, often against our wishes :-)
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. T-shirt starts at $199.
