WEAR NOW DO seeks your help in artfully designing bold, modern, and elegant signature t-shirts and apparel for the launch if its new lifestyle brand. The winner of this contest has the potential for continued design contracting with the firm in the near term. Designers of color encouraged to compete. T-shirt Concept #1 •Focus is on rich diversity of women of color (graphics should be distinguishable as women of color) •T-shirt design should exude boldness, simplicity, elegance •Graphics should exude positivity and reflections on womanhood-self-defining vs self-defined by others •Dynamic imagery should convey action, wisdom, strength, and assurance •Strong women- conquers of adversity; violence; injustice •Women inspiring their communities/ social impact on their neighborhoods Target Audience: •WEAR NOW DO customers are socially aware and active in their communities •This t-shirt is thematically designed for urbane city dwellers •Women aged 18-45 years old Other Detail to Consider: ABOUT WEAR NOW DO: Vision: WEAR NOW DO is an inspired lifestyle brand which seeks to elevate the voice of those most vulnerable- enabling civic engagement, understanding, and a better world. Strategic Social Action: WEAR NOW DO produces high quality apparel and inspired lifestyle goods that are supportive of outcomes that maximize its vision. Technical requirements/Design uses: •Final artwork should not use stock images, photos, clipart, or fonts that carry licenses •Final artwork should be original and not heavily reference a copy written image •Final artwork should be two color •Final artwork should be production ready (i.e. Adobe Illustrator file, Adobe Photoshop file, PDF file or EPS) file and able to scale to various sizes without losing integrity •There will be a side seam on the t-shirt, so graphic should be focused on frontal surface and not span from front to back of a typical t-shirt •Design will be applied to both women and men’s t-shirts (styles include: v -neck, racer backs, and traditional cuts) •Products will be handmade and printed on items that are primarily ivory, solid white, black, blue, heather grey, olive green, peach, teal General Style Preference: •Like the idea of using a word cloud/making an image of the words that evoke WEAR NOW DO (see associated words) •Like the idea of being able to print in duotone and bold color
