The Leamington Triathlon Weekend is growing triathlon in South-western Ontario. One of Ontario's oldest.
The race is hosted in Leamington, Ontario. The tomato capital of Canada. Our main race is called the Tomatoman. Leamington is on the shores of Lake Erie, and the race has athletes swimming in the Leamington Municipal Harbour.
The race weekend includes a number of different races. These include our Kids of Steel, Adult Try-a-Tri, Adult Do-a-Du, Sprint Triathlon, and a Sprint Duathlon.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
All athletes participating in the race during the weekend will receive a shirt (expected attendance is 400). Athletes range in age from 5 to 75.
Participants are generally experienced racers.
The majority of racers are in their 30s and 40s with slightly more male racers.
3 colour logo to appear on a black t-shirt (most likely a dri-fit type shirt).
Colour preference is red, white, and green. We are flexible on white and green. Red is necessary.
A tomato in the logo or some sort of tomato vine would be desirable.
We would like the design to NOT dominate the front of the shirt. Simple is better. Across the chest or on left breast would be ideal. Again, we are open to all designs.
Current year or race date should be included (June 18&19, 2011).
Reference to the race being the Ontario Provincial Sprint Triathlon Championship should be included.
Attached are logos that we've had in the past or designs that we like.
