I'm a mashup artist from Chicago, IL currently living in Madison, WI. While your typical DJ will transition from song to song or remix stuff, I layer existing tracks together to form new songs. Artists like Girl Talk and Super Mash bros are doing a lot of that stuff currently.
I had a design contest earlier in the month, but my design idea was a little too elaborate for the money I could offer, so this one hopefully will be more fair.
There really isn't a specific target audience. Any flashy design that looks cool will sell. Typically, the people who listen to my music are high school through graduate school age people. I assume the bulk of t-shirt orders will come from that demographic
For this design, it's imperative that whoever is involved for the design watches the new Kanye West music video for the song "All of the Lights."

At the 1 minute mark and at the end, the lyrics of song flash very quickly in many different fonts, colors, and designs. I am a loser and went through the video very slowly to find designs that I liked that I wouldn't mind putting on a shirt. I tried my hardest to make the times as accurate as possible:
All of the Lights video:
-1:49 (for the)
-1:49 (rest of your life)
-1:50 (life with the teal orange blue)
-1:55 (if u want it)
-5:01 (alvin fields)
Now, this doesn't mean that you have to make the exact designs, but something along these lines.
All I really want on the shirt is "DJ JewBoy" and underneath it in a smaller font you could put one of two things: 1) Chicago, IL & Madison, WI or 2) music mashups.
I hope this isn't too outlandish.
