skiarlberg needed a new t-shirt design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 146 designs submitted by 21 freelance designers.
In winter we are a small but very professional skischool in the Arlberg region. See http://www.skischule-a-z.at for more infos.
In the summer we do mountain-biking, trans alps, running and hiking.
Now we need for our team fancy summer stuff, such as T-shirts or biking jerseys etc. which should show our professional and extraordinary attitude of beeing small but special. Be fancy, be funny, be cool! We want to see new stuff, designs that are eyecatching, breathtaking, overwhelming... Be creative!!!
As we need for our team fancy summer stuff now, we d like to have a biking jersey designed, that can also be printed on T-shirts.The design should show our professional and extraordinary attitude of beeing small but special. Be fancy, be funny, be cool! We want to see new stuff, designs that are eyecatching, breathtaking, overwhelming... Be creative!!!
Jerseys might be ordered from champ-sys.com or anybody suggests a better supplier, but the following jersey template can give a good idea:
Information on how to design the jersey can be found at this link under the heading "How to Design Your Jersey Digitally"
http://champ-sys.com/custom/how-to-order
Key points:
-Must be vector artwork - Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw or Macromedia files only
-Use pantone colors - each # will be needed for submission with the artwork
-Convert text to outlines (or provide font names)
In terms of design elements, here are some ideas:
-The jersey or logo should feature "A" and "Z" in some way, as our skischool 's name is Skischool from A to Z.
Think of anything catchy that involves A and Z in whatever way that can still be recognised and is readable by people walking or riding by.
You can for example display half summer half winter on front and back side or top and bottom, or left and righrt maybe get the same landscape in both seasons or let summer evolve to winter or reverse. a skier and/or a mountainbiker can play a role.
Keep in mind that we need something that makes people stop, take a close look and show a smile!
-For colors, green (sunnygreen) is our major go as out skiwear is all in green. Of course, more coulors can be added, also lines, pictures or other stuff. Be creative and go for something that captures outdoors and bike riding and/or running.
-You could choose to be inspired by the fact this ride takes place in the Arlberg region. http://www.skiarlberg.com/summer for more inspirations. Mountains are a good start for brainstorming but let your mind wander across all the fun outdoor stuff that can be done here and elsewhere in mountain regions.
