Thomas Campitelli got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Dinosaur T-Shirt for Weight Lifting Meet
Check out Thomas Campitelli's T-shirt contest…
The design needs to scale well, since this will go on both tanks and tees, so something stylized and less photorealistic is preferred. That can be a clean vectorish look, or a spare almost charcoal drawing sketch.
The t-shirt needs to have a Tyrannosaurus Rex on it. That can be just the head, the head and part of the body, or the whole body. From the front, from the side, at an angle – all are okay. T. can be running, standing, looking cool, or just looking at the viewer. I am reasonably familiar with the top results from a Google image search for T. Rex drawings, so I would like something cooler than a widely used piece of clip art. T. Rex can have his mouth open or closed. In fact, a closed mouth is less common and could be interesting. Also, the shirt needs to have the following text on it: Starting Strength Classic April 2016 Oakland, CA Squat, Press, Deadlift
What to avoid
The dinosaur cannot be eating anyone or anything, nor can the dino be lifting weights, not should the dino be eating anyone while lifting weights. I am not interested in something gory.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. T-shirt starts at $199.
