william99designs got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
99designs needs a FRESH NEW HOODIE DESIGN!!!
Check out william99designs's T-shirt contest…
Good examples can be found on websites such as Upper Playground (http://www.upperplayground.com) and oaklandish (http://oaklandish.com). Feel free to be creative and hit us up with any questions!
Design wise, think FRESH, URBAN and WEARABLE... we would prefer a somewhat minimalist artistic approach. Please keep in mind that the design will be printed on a blue colored zip up hoodie. See attachment "COLOR SWATCH" for the color. The print can be on one side of the chest or over the front entirely, but make sure to keep the zipper in mind (the design can be on both sides of the zipper but the zipper itself cannot be printed on). You can also do something with a small design element on the front of the hoodie (maybe left chest) with a larger design on the back. You can keep with the 99designs logo colors or try something different... perhaps something monochromatic? Feel free to be creative! Adobe Illustrator/ Vector Files preferred. AIl files should be saved using specific Pantone Solid Coated Colors. All fonts/ text must be converted to outlines.
What to avoid
Be creative, but nothing too busy. Nothing that would take up the entire front of the garment. Treatments or interpretations of our existing logo are fine, but it still should be recognizable. Please, no use of slogans or phrases such as "Less is More" or "Design Done Differently".
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. T-shirt starts at $199.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
