tbarsody15 got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Design a unique and distinguishable earthy shirt that is restoring the rainforest

We have a folky style, that is still modern and simplistic. We want each shirt to have a clear and distingushiable marking. Because we are a Tree Restoring business, we want an emphasis on natural designs. NO NEON. if the color wouldn't be found in nature, we probably hate it. We like the idea of meshing the styles of Patagonia, Free People and Urban Outfitters with American Apparel and your local artsy coffee shop barista's sketchbook designs ,love child. The person wearing our clothes probably wears birkenstocks and loves thrift stores (in a cool way).
Somewhere on the shirt it should have TreeShirts. Our business is a 1 for 1 shirt company, where we plant an indegiounous rainforest tree back into Brazil for every shirt sold. We want that message explained in a condensed and possibly "Punny" way. We want the phrases to be hip and catchy but not cheesy. We commonly say "1 Tee 1 Tree" when explaining our mission. We like the idea of incorporating "Roots" like "be the roots" or "we are the roots". Our trees are planted for life and we want that portrayed in our shirts. We also want the idea conveyed that through a shirt purchase, our consumer is a member of the TreeShirt community.
