J.haddix56 got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Create a hacker shirt for bugcrowds Elite tier of Security Researchers
Check out J.haddix56's T-shirt contest…
Bugcrowd is a crowdsourced platform for hackers to responsibly disclose security bugs. It is very similar to 99designs. A customer opens up a "bug bounty" and the hackers (also called "security researchers" or "bounty hunters" or "Bug hunters") can disclose security flaws in the customers website, mobile app, etc, and get paid for those flaws. We had a design contest recently for a t shirt that we plan to give away to anyone BUT THIS design is for our elite researchers/hackers/bug hunters. These are the cream of the crop, they lead the pack. They are the best bounty hunters and hackers in the world. Put yourself in those shoes, you are the best, what kind of shirt would you want to wear? We will make a limited number of these shirts for this small group of researchers who have submitted critical bugs to our customers through our platform. The idea behind the shirt is to indicate they are in a special group and highly valued. We have a few word ideas to communicate this: "31337" , "ring 0" , "ninja" The the idea of hackers or security people in general is usually graphically tied with code, circuitry, gears, the hacker logo (google it), and mysterious silhouetted figures ready to pwn your computer from behind a linux terminal. Our name includes the word bug, hopefully this can also be incorporated. Feel free to be creative though. Break the mold if need be =) Our previous contest: http://99designs.com/t-shirt-design/contests/bring-life-tried-slogan-tshirt-design-hackers-will-505227 Our website: www.bugcrowd.com

It all began with a design brief.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
J.haddix56 collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected 3 winners!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
