One Safe Place got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Camp Hope Texas Official T-Shirt for 2015
Check out One Safe Place's T-shirt contest…
Design should be summer camp style, consistent with logo. Camp Hope Texas is a week-long outdoor adventure camp for kids exposed to family violence. The design should incorporate themes of peace, hope, love and adventure. The words "Camp Hope Texas" do not need to be used in the design for the back of the shirt and the existing logo does not need to be used either. The camp is for kids 8-13 years old, but we want a shirt that appeals to adults as well (for fundraising purposes). The camp is nondemoninational, so no religous images should be used.
This contest is for a design for the back of the t-shirt. The logo (attached for information and guidance) will go on the front of the shirt and does not need to be incorporated into the design. Final design must be conveyed in eps vector format.

J.Tot was a creative and flexible designer! We went through a couple rounds of review with my board, and she was able to incorporate feedback and bring forward new ways to meet our goals. I'm a huge fan!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
