Kani Saburi Ayubu got their new t-shirt by running a design contest:
Black History Month T-Shirt 2017
Check out Kani Saburi Ayubu's T-shirt contest…
We do an annual t-shirt for Black History Month. This year we want to do a tshirt that captures the essence of the social protests that took place during the course of 2016. It should have an afrocentric feel to it. The theme of the shirt is "Wanted for Wanting Freedom". We are open to ideas based on that theme. Initially we were thinking of some type of design that incorporates that phrase, silhouettes of people protest or silhouettes of the iconic images of fists being raised in the air but that is not required. Those were just some initial ideas.
"Wanted for Wanting Freedom" which is the slogan/theme the tshirt will be built around.
What to avoid
Being that it is a Black History Month t-shirt it should be Afrocentric in nature.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. T-shirt starts at $199.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their t-shirt.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Kani Saburi Ayubu collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected 2 winners!
The design was perfect, exactly what we asked for. Every piece of feedback we gave was responded to with a thoughtful, creative, and precise design. SKYLABS will be my first choice to work with on future projects.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
