How Howtobackhoe started their t-shirt journey

Brand name

I started with my dad Mike who has been a heavy equipment operator for over 35 years. I realized I could help him get some extra mileage out of his already successful career as an operator by using my multimedia skills to package up a small chunk of his expertise and make it available online. Using his knowledge and experience I filmed and edited an instructional video on how to operate a Backhoe. We plan to sell the video from our website, which will also serve as a blog and store for other heavy equipment related products (including this t-shirt!)

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach

We come from a working class background, and those are exactly the kind of folks we are aiming for. Guys who drive trucks, drink beer and watch football are the ones we want to wear this shirt.

But, it also needs to have a cool, classic sort of edge to it

The shirt must have a picture of a backhoe on it. Not a bulldozer, not an excavator, a backhoe. It has a long boom with a bucket on one end and a big wide bucket on the other, and it has big rubber tires not tracks.

The shirt must say this: "I like big buckets and I cannot lie"

that's the funny part, ha ha!

(if you are wondering why this is funny, please refer to the Sir MixAlot song "Baby Got Back")

the shirt must also display our website:

that's it!

Please view the attachment, It is my sketch of the design. It lacks the website, but please include it in your design.

It is required that you surpass my design with your awesome skills!
