jasonlear got their new sticker by running a design contest:
Creative Cannabis Company Marketing Sticker Using Logo
Check out jasonlear's Sticker contest…
Medical & Pharmaceutical
We are a new, technology-driven cannabis farm in Oregon. We sell cannabis flower to dispensaries and others in the regulated, recreational market. Our target audience is broad and our branding is strong and clear with a nod to wellness and science (with similarities to pharmaceutical company branding). We also like to target things like shirts, posters and stickers to more of the 'traditional' cannabis consuming audience, which tends to be younger and more male (but with plenty of women consumers), especially in Oregon. We are also targeting "budtenders" who work at dispensaries and are often in their 20's and enjoy weed culture. In Oregon, there is a 'trippy', 'psychedlic' bent to this culture. So we are targeting 21-34 year old Oregon weed consumers and budtenders.
What's your vision?
A sticker, with dimensions TBD (in discussion with artist) but generally speaking either: Square/Rectangular: Minimum: at least 2.5" tall by at least 3.5" wide Maximum: 4" tall by 5" wide Target: Fits within a 4"x4" square Oval/Spherical Fits within the box described above. The stickers will be individually cut, for distribution at retail locations. The design should focus on the logo and using an approved color scheme for the logo. We are open to seeing entries that divert from approved color scheme if using a solid color or metallic like gold or silver, or a single-color version of the logo using the company colors. But the horizontal or vertical combination mark (including logo and icon) must be clearly visible and central to the design. From there, we want to see creativity and eye-catching, eye-popping interesting design. We want these to capture attention, get noticed and be desireable to stick on laptops, public places, etc for those who receive them. We will print in a weather-resistant digital print on solid (probably white) or clear-back, depending on the design. Here is our brand bible with all the logo files and colors, etc: https://tinyurl.com/arisebrand
This design should be dazzling! The logo needs to be front and center but beyond that, excited to see your creativity. If your design meshes with our broader style as featured in the brand guide, thats great. If it departs significantly (but retains our logo and colors), thats also great! The key is visual interest.
