Plans & Approvals got their new stationery by running a design contest:
New stationery wanted for Tyrrells Plans & Approvals
Check out Plans & Approvals's Stationery contest…
A subsidiary business of Tyrrells Property inspections, we provide architectural design & documentation services including the preparation of plans, and guiding client through the process of gaining development & construction approvals. We specialise in Residential & Commercial development, from alterations & additions to large scale multimillion dollar developments
What's your vision?
1. Stylised version of the exiting Tyrrells logo to represent the subsidiary business 'Tyrrells Plans & Approvals' (see 'further requirements' below) 2. Business card incorporating this version of the logo 3. Letterhead and email signatures incorporating this version of the logo (Letterhead for insertion into electronic templates, not pre-printing) We're looking for a fresh face to our Architectural division, but that still links us with the parent company. The new design should reflect a modern, dynamic, creative, design based business, with with reference back to the parent company graphic design (eg. font/ logo/ colours/ etc) The word 'tyrrells' should maintain it's Helvetica font in lower case, however all other font's, colours, logo's etc are open to interpretation/ variation. Eurostyle font is also currently used for "Plans & Approvals", and whilst we like it, we would consider variation. We also use 'Century Gothic' font extensively in our drawings. No Cheesy drawing boards/ compasses/ pencils/ blueprints/ etc - be creative & come up with a sharp new image for us. Information for stationary: -Logo/graphic -reference to Sydney & Central Coast offices -General Address, phone, fax -Personal name, position/qualification, mobile, direct line, email.
We would like to retain the '3 buildings' tyrrells logo, but in a stylised 'architectural' form (ie. sketchy/working lines/reflection/rounded corners/etc) The business title of "Plans & Approvals" should be prominent, and work in with the word "Tyrrells"....do not use the "experts when buying or building" tag line. We like the cards with different colours front & back, and the red/black/white colour schemes work well.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Stationery starts at $199.

It all began with a design brief.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Plans & Approvals collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
