*** DIFFERENT BACKS ***
MOO.com also allows you to print up to 50 different backs on your cards. We currently have 20 different backs with our existing design, which we may reuse, but we'd like to see some new ideas. We definitely need a new front. Be sure there is accommodation made to write notes on the back and some sort of design that can be changed up so there are a variety of different designs. Can be the same design with different colors or variations of a design etc.
You can look at our current backs here for reference: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/40036319/9…ns/CGA.zip
*** DESIGNS WE LIKE ***
Most of the designs on the MOO.com site are pretty representative of the graphical treatment we're after. Fresh, Up to date, colorful, illustrative. You can also see some examples of stock designs with different backs on the MOO.com site here: http://us.moo.com/design-templates/…ess-cards/
Note that all of these designs use typography and unique design elements. Also we work in an architectural industry, so try to keep that in mind with the design. Geometic shapes like the following are good directions to try:
I'm open to any ideas, though I don't want any photographic imagery. I'm a fan of white space and typography and illustrative graphics, marks etc. The people I deal with are all very talented creatives so I want a card that reflects the industry I work in and the caliber of work that is done.
I want the cards to be memorable. For example the 20 different backs we currently have are always a good conversation starter as collectively the cards make up one huge city if lined up side by side.
For the letterhead, it's not going to be printed so needs to be able to work in a Word document as a header, footer, background image etc.
