corinakroon got their new stationery by running a design contest:
Catch the friendly dragon on paper!
Check out corinakroon's Stationery contest…
The name of the identity that should be represented in the logo is Drakenkracht (dragon power). I look for a black and white logo: a circle with a dragon head larger than the circle. In the circle there should be written drakenkracht. Eventually a supporting orange collor is allowed too. The dragon should NOT look chinese or agressive, indeed very friendly and Disney-like. By preference a black drawn figure. It should look like a quality stamp in reference to the mythical successes so far and the ones I want to book in the near future. Lettertype: no nonsense modern please. No photgraphic illustration, indeed a drawn texture please.
Brand name to include on the stationery item(s)
What to avoid
No Chinese dragon. No agression or mythical or game elements. Just a friendly drawn dragon.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Stationery starts at $199.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.

Ian’s got a great design sense and got the logo almost dead on the first submission. Throughout the contest he has been very quick to feedback and extremely thorough.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
