Alarm Grid got their new social media page by running a design contest:
Alarm Grid's Youtube Channel Banner
Check out Alarm Grid's Social media page contest…
Please look at our site: alarmgrid.com for inspiration. We also need it to be brand consistent with our different online and offline branding. Take a look at our Facebook (facebook.com/alarmgrid), and our attached flyer that we use. Sine this is for Youtube, we want there to be fewer words. Something visually appealing for our audience, maybe a picture with some kind of activity that conveys the idea that video is an active medium. You must be aware of the Channel Art dimensions as articulated here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2972003?hl=en. The minimum size for a submission is a high resolution 2560x1440 pixels. As the template indicates, the image must take into consideration the 2560x423 size that will be displayed on a desktopx 1850x423 pixel display for a Tablet, and the 1546x423 pixel display that will be show on a mobile phone. please make sure that you plan your submission according to these dimensions. If you are going to submit an image with multiple people displayed (such as a family), please be aware that we need there to be conveyed a level of diversity within the image. We are a company with lots and lots of customers, and in the case that an image filled with people is used, we want to make sure that the character of those customers are captured in that single image.
Our company logo should be included. Generally, while not always the case, Alarm Grid's logo without the grid background works best for these sorts of applications. Feel free to submit using multiple versions of our logo. But we generally see that the no-grid background works best. Also, don't use the square text logo unless space constraints call for it. The horizontal text logo is our preferred style.
