Organization: I am a Success Coach and I believe people are the drivers of their own lives--even kids and teens. Through coaching, I take the frustration out of learning and equip students with skills for independent and responsible living. This includes college preparation and culture, financial skills, academic help (like tutoring), brain and cognitive functions (the executive functions), goal setting, technology and online learning--that type of thing. Target audience: Smart, well-employed, want their children to be independent, not afraid to yield to (and pay for) expert help/services, wants the best for their student, is feeling frustrated with the current situation, wants to restore family peace, needs an expert/guru to manage these processes, just want to enjoy their kid without the hassle of being a nag/task master/personal assist to their child. High-end client who wants a personalized service and to give their children every opportunity for success.
I am attaching some colors I like and some other images I have liked, but I am open to creativity. Here is part of a branding exercise I did. SSC (should we even use the initials?) archetypes (based on Jung's work): Dominant - The Hero/Warrior Intrinsic - The Magician Intuitive - The Orphan/Every[wo]man Marketing/branding exercise questions that are applicable: How should the artwork/website/etc. make the person feel? Confident, intelligent, motivated (a "lets go" and "can do" attitude) What kinds of imagery resonates with the brand? Representations, clean, classic I have been going around and around about colors. I pick a palette, people like something else, I pick something else, people aren’t thrilled--whatever. I definitely want NAVY BLUE as a color. I love gold. I usually pick warmer colors, but I like the classic and clean look of navy (heck, I wear that color almost every day). They (navy and gold) pair with blush, mint, yellows, oranges--so there is a lot of option going forward Maybe a brain? Doesn't HAVE to be a brain though. Think of another idea! Seattle is less important than the Success Coaching part. "Success Coaching" should stay as one piece. Stuff you specifically don’t care for? Clip art looking stuff Stereotypical educational tropes - Crayons, diploma, graduation cap, that kind of stuff What do I have that makes me different from others? I have a diverse experience with all types of students (different ages, gifted to special needs, community college to elite universities) I love kids/teens/college students Can combine being a Mentor, Consultant, Tutor, Teacher, Partner, and Problem Solver into one package--Success Coaching We provide specific tools for success I have worked with hundreds of students in a variety of settings One-on-one personalized goal and educational plans We go to you Parent help: homework cop, “bad” guy, organization Five words: Supportive, fun-loving, personalized, collaborative, successful
