We decided to work with Branco because we believed his was the best logo we were looking for, because he was a top designer on the platform and for his other work he did. During the selection process he was extremely responsive and worked with us on the versions he created. Then after we chose him and even after the contest ended, he was extremely responsive and created several versions of the logo that we forgot to ask for. He was patient with us and flexible but most importantly responsive! Would work with him again!

Our business name is R4P4 (aka RAPA, web address r4p4.com). It reflects on Rapa Nui and Thor Heyerdals ideas about Polynesia which were controversial at the time. He was a Norwegian with innovative ideas, as are we. It also reflects on the even more, but less known, interesting story about the discovery of a bacteria in the soil on Rapa Nui. This bacteria led to the development of a drug called Rapamycin. At low doses, Rapamycin slows aging and extends lifespan in several organisms, including mice, with few or no side effects. Rapamycin acts on a switch in the human body which every cell possess called mTOR, which control growth, proliferation, and survival. Although we do not aim for extending life. We think our innovative surgical ideas can improve life quality. Accordingly, we want our logo to be a simplistic face(s)/statue(s)resembling the statues of Rapa Nui.
