New or redesigned logo for a pop / rock coverband

Hi 99desings community, we are PLANKTON - a coverband from tyrol / austria... this band exists for 9 years now... we have played over 700 gigs within the last years and all of our musicians are professionals. our band is booked for weddings (4 musicians) or for company parties (9 musicians) as well as we are playing proms. if you want to have a look at our (very old) homepage: www.planktonmusic.at this is the reason why we do this -> the homepage looks like it is from the 90's -> therefore we start with a new / redesigned logo what do we play? We are a rock/pop band where we play charts from the 60's, over 80's and and of course the charts from the last years... which sound do we like? Jessie J Justin Timberlake Daft Punk Alice Merton U2 Michael Jackson so maybe you have a look at our old logo you can find on our homepage/downloads - would be nice if the colour is the same. BUT what we would like to have: a fresher, modern logo which is easier to place on flyers -> as you can see there is an extension on the left lower end of the logo, which makes it difficult to place it on marketing material. Wheter you do our logo with capital letters or not is your desicion, as well as you can decide if the slogan (Die Band für dein Event) is more annoying than it is helpful for the logo. ALSO if you really think a other colour would fit better to our band, please feel free... far too much text, i'm sorry ;) looking forward to your designs, Mike
