We want out logo to feel like the political yard sign a DESIGNER would LIKE to have in their yard...something cool, something artsy, but also refined and sophisticated...but like any good yard sign - EASY to read and remember!
WHAT WE DO:
Through social media groups/accounts in all 50 states, D.C., and Puerto Rico, our 15,000+ members provide grassroots support for the progressive movement. We focus on promoting election awareness, enhanced candidate promotion, volunteer team building, volunteer housing, canvassing, rallying, postcarding, phone/text banking, tweeting, voter registration, voter protection training, and voter
transportation to the polls.
They are interested in working to make a positive difference in our political and social landscape. They are liberals, progressives, democrats, and independents all working together for a better future.
Our members are self motivated, very ambitious, big thinkers who are willing to do whatever it takes to get out the vote and win elections. These are volunteers who dedicate themselves to this work. They are social media/tech savvy which gives them a modern flair, but they are also patriots who have a deep sense of connection and pride in being American...they use their skills to push for a more just society, and their passion to inspire others to get involved in making change happen.
Demographically, our members slant slightly towards 50+yr old women...so nostalgic/vintage/retro images work well. But like I said, they are very much FORWARD thinking, tech savvy bunch. Much of our work combines the old tactics with new innovative tactics...so we are constantly combining OLD with NEW...it would be good if our Logo did the same.
