We care about changing lives, hearing and supporting individuals and making a lasting difference. This is North America's premier school of narrative therapy, which is a key form of psychological counseling that supports clients in re-telling their stories in therapeutic ways. This school teaches psychotherapists and graduate students the techniques, which are rooted in social justice and empowerment. Its relationship based, conversational, creative, collaborative and grounded in interview and personal exchange. It includes thoughtful questions that the psychotherapist asks to inspire new ways for clients to think of themselves, their relationships and their problems. It involves storytelling, writing, imagining new possibilities and connecting with personal values, abilities and skills that pave the way to a better, more fulfilling future.
Need: 1. Logo design for the website, digital videos, and print collateral. 2. Social media icons and backgrounds for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube. Logo: While we have specified "VSNT" for the logotype and "Vancouver School for Narrative Therapy" for the subheading, the subheading doesn't have to be included. "VSNT" is our must have. There will be two platforms: VSNT.live (right now TCTV.live online) and VSNT (school campus in Vancouver and traveling lectures and training throughout the world). Logo don'ts: We're really looking for a text-based logo, not a talk bubble. If you plan to do a talk bubble, do something original instead of copying a vector from your google search. We also don't want to see Gotham font. Show us something more unique. Logo style: We're preferring a logotype over a logo icon, but you can show us a great idea if you have one! If you are a skilled designer, we are open to a surprise. Text-based logo means that the descriptors above would be felt in the typography. Target audience: This is a psychology institute that serves both younger graduate students and established psychologists and educators. Ages 35-65+. Genders are male, female, and nonbinary. Inclusive and diverse. Anti-racists. Meaningful. Keywords: sophisticated, inviting, warm, accessible, intelligent, clean, literate, loving, gentle, dedicated, empathetic, healing, comfortable. Concept words: Storytelling. Conversation. Connection. Personal Growth. Creativity. Wellbeing. Mind. Support. Empowerment. Narrative. Re-writing your path. Possibility. Healing. Ideas. Relationships. Color: We encourage you to experiment with color combinations! We trust your creativity. When you do this, please keep in mind that this is an established psychology institute with a global audience. We need a thoughtful rebrand.
