We are remaking our logo for our Hospital Marketing Services business and we need a logo for this that looks and feels like a hospital logo but is far ahead of where most hospital related marketing/logos are today. When people see the logo we want them to instantly know they are working with professionals that care about the details and what the little things communicate to counterparties.
We have attached a H on a street sign which represents a universal hospital symbol in the U.S. (where our business is focused) and we like this imagery but we don’t want to be generic and have an easily copied logo so we need to add some movement, flare, or action to the logo. Also attached in that same image is a more simple H symbol which looks like it is moving to the right, moving forward. We like this, it doesn’t look amazing, it is not 2D, it doesn’t pop out amazingly well, it just is less boring that the H on the street sign approach.
What we want is a 2D/3D looking logo, blue in color, has to include the H, has to be somewhat recognizable as a “hospital H” but that also has movement, action, or a feeling or design element built into it. Please feel free to use black or white or red or other highlight colors but please do not include any yellows, purples, pinks, neon, fluorescent colors or too cheap looking of clip art type imagery as we are looking for a very polished, sophisticated and formal logo here for a company which will be selling to discerning executives who are picky on who represents them and what their own branding/marketing looks like.
If it helps to know, we provide a holistic suite of hospital marketing solutions to clients and outsourced Chief Marketing Officers. We get hired by CEOs of hospitals and Chief Marketing Officers of hospitals, so it has to impress them that we are so well put together, polished, and 100% relevant to their lives running their hospitals.
We use freelance graphic designers in our business from time-to-time so please don’t see this just as a chance to win $X in prize money in this logo contest but as a interview to work as an extension of our team long-term in helping us deliver work to our clients.
We appreciate your contribution to this logo contest and we will try our best to respond to every logo submitted which has followed our instructions here to some reasonable degree. We will not be responding to those who obviously submitted logos without first reading or paying attention to our requirements, thank you for your understanding on this point.
