How tarynwQ started their logo & social media pack journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I write a home decor/lifestyle blog, http://designdininganddiapers.com . Over the past 6 years I have developed my brand and style, and I am now rebranding to my name, Taryn Whiteaker. I am looking for a new logo for my site and social media. This will mainly be used for my blog header and will need to be a horizontal design that stretches across full width of the header. I write primarily about home decor and design, but also share DIY tutorials, food, entertaining and every day life. My style can be described as modern, industrial and rustic but also classic. I primarily use neutrals and would like the logo to be very clean and modern, in black and white with the option of using a splash of blush pink (not required but open to it). I am open to visual graphics in addition to text, but want it to remain very sleek. Things to NOT use: flowers or hearts.
My target audience are females, 25-44 who like home decor, beauty, fitness, cooking/baking and do-it-yourself projects.

The accent of pink should be a 'blush pink'.

For reference, here is my current/temporary logo while going through rebranding and a screen shot of my site. The new logo will stretch across the full header and the ad will be moved up. Ie. "Taryn Whiteaker" should be on the same line. My style can be described as modern, industrial and rustic but also classic. I primarily use neutrals and would like the logo to be very clean and modern, in black and white with the option of using a splash of blush pink (not required but open to it). I want something more than just text (I can play around with fonts myself, I'm looking for a solid logo), adding graphic elements would be great, but want it to remain very sleek. Things to NOT use: flowers or hearts.
