The Global Off-Grid Lighting Association (GOGLA) is the industry association of the off-grid solar industry. Our members finance, produce and distribute off-grid solar products (solar lanterns, solar home systems and appliances). The Global Off-Grid Solar Forum and Expo is the world’s leading off-grid solar event taking place every two years and gathering ca. 500 representatives of the industry and key stakeholders, including government representatives. Co-organizer of the conference is the World Bank/IFC Lighting Global program. The event has the tagline “The biennial meeting of the off-grid solar energy industry”.
This is the first time the conference will be held under a new name. To learn more about the nature of the event and the previous logo, please visit http://conference2015.gogla.org/. GOGLA launched a new corporate design earlier this year, please visit our website http://www.gogla.org to see our new logo and colors.
The conference audience will be highly international with many participants coming from Africa, Europe, the. U.S., China and India. There will be senior industry and government representatives among the audience while the off-grid sector as such consists of numerous start-ups gathering young and innovative entrepreneurs.
The to-be-designed logo should capture the innovate and entrepreneurial nature of the event while maintaining a serious and professional look. Elements that might be incorporated in the logo are solar panels, the sun and the globe. It is our intention to use the logo for future editions of the event, it should thus be recognizable and flexible enough to make minor changes if needed (e.g. adding or deleting a word in the event title).
The logo package must include a color, grayscale and black/white version.
