BubbleCatcher - teaching finance to young adults

We are a startup that is focused on teaching finance and investing concepts to young adults, mostly in their 20s and connecting them to financial products and services that fit their needs and lifestyle.

We want to have a fresh brand / look that is different from most finance or education companies. Something that makes this product appealing and playful but also trustworthy. Most finance brands are very dull and boring, but for us our brand needs to carry us above the pack. We will link individuals to financial products offered by traditional banks but also small startups, so we need to look cutting edge. We also want a logo that conveys an anti-establishment motif as that is our culture as we are teaching young adults to not get screwed by big brother. This will be a difficult balance to maintain. We prefer a minimalistic style and simplicity over complexity because we need to look accessible for people from all backgrounds to enjoy. Retro concepts that convey simplicity could be interesting and fun, but it's a bit risky because it could wrongly connote tradition. The color patterns are suggestions but we are flexible on this (just no reds or oranges). Use of simple animals or people figures is encouraged but not required as this could help make our brand accessible. We do not want childish illustrations. Thank you in advance for your hard work!
