jerrad1 got their new signage by running a design contest:
Vintage/Retro Gas Station Style sign designed for restaurant chain
Check out jerrad1's Signage contest…
We are a retro sign company with original designs for decor/consumer use as well as commercial applications. This signage project will be for a National (USA) restaurant chain.
What's your vision?
We are looking for a design in the "retro gas station" sign style. 36" round diameter signs, and other shapes are welcome as long as they are 36", with sayings relating to the restaurant, but also with the nostalgia of the old gas wording. Photos are provided. Will include text and graphics/logo for the restaurant
These will be painted and rusted to look old. Fonts and designs must look old and retro. You can see the wording that I want to use in files named: image001 - image017 (all the PNG files). These are ideas for wording. Use for inspiration. Also, provided is the logo with the chicken and the name of the restaurant so you can incorporate the logo into the signs. Here's one idea to get you started: See the "Mobil Gas" sign with the flying horse/pegasus? Since the logo for the restaurant is a chicken, it would be cool to position the chicken as if it were the horse flying away. People will remember this and relate it to the old Mobil logo. Please feel free to contact me with questions and ideas. Will need Illustrator and Photoshop files of the design.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Signage starts at $199.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
