What's your vision?
Livewire is launching a new event Series called 'Livewire Masters Series'. The Livewire Masters Series are an exclusive, invite-only series of events, held in both Sydney and Melbourne, aimed at a providing a unique insight into the thinking of the Masters of the Market. Each event will focus on a key overarching topic. The events will tackle the hard hitting questions with no holds barred. They are Live. Controversial and Essential for anyone working within the investment field. The audience will be highly targeted with each event aimed at an attendance of 80 -100 to allow for strong connections to be formed between speakers and audience members. The audience will be specifically relevant to the event topic and will be made up of a combination of advisers, high net wealth investors, family offices and CIO’s and CEO’s. What I would like are concepts for how we can visually execute signage for this event series. I would like to see 2 executions from each concept in order to visualise how the design will work across multiple mediums. Please include for your concept a landscape and portrait design version. The landscape solution will help to visualise digital advertising (i.e. EDM banners, website headers etc) and the portrait will display how the design will look in a pull-up banner or larger sign type format. This contest is about conceptual design (i.e. your creative vision will be taken and used to build signage and online banners etc) - be creative, you have creative license to make things interesting, keep in mind the concept you present will be used on large signage so it needs to be interesting an eye catching. The events tagline is: Live. Controversial. Essential Word descriptors include: (these are descriptors to assist with imagery and overall look and feel) Choose one group to direct your concept solution. 1. on set/behind the scenes/filming 2. targeted/exclusive 3. Masters/bests of the best/premium 4. Ahead of the Curve/First access 5. Telling it like it is/ No holds barred/controversial. I would like for the design to not be typical or expected however our product is a premium offering so all designs need to feel sophisticated and appeal to a primarily male (40-65 age range) dominated audience. I'm open to imagery inclusions (from stock) but also concepts that include type/font used in interesting ways. This is not to be basic and boring, it needs to capture attention and have a strong visual appeal. Things to think about: what does the word master mean to you? is there a font you think depicts this word really strongly (use it and use the company font for a different element of the design). When you think controversial - what image springs to mind. Use the word descriptors I have provided to help form your conceptual idea and use your graphic skills to make the design awesome!
