Easy to work with, responsive and came up with creative ideas throughout the process. Would be happy to work with them again in the future.
- Weing Leung
Weing created the logo for our website and it was a great experience! He was very communicative and responded to all our design modification ideas quickly. We also appreciated that he did not overload us with many design iterations unless requested as some other designers do. I would not hesitate to work with Weing again in the future. Thank you so much!!!

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We need a signage design for a small cafe serving fine teas and cakes in Devonport, Auckland. It will be called Samarkand Tea House. Samarkand is an ancient city in Uzbekistan. The cafe will be simple, but with some touches of Uzbekistan and Uzbek culture. You can read about Devonport here: http://devonport.co.nz/
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
The signage would appear in at least three different places, so ideally we want something that can work for all. I'm not sure yet whether we want a logo as part of the sign or not. You are free to play with that.
1. The cafe is a small store inside an old post office building (http://salmondreed.co.nz/devonportpostoffice/). It looks similar to the stores seen in the interior pictures shown in the link above (in fact, it may even be one of them!). The entrance to the cafe is all glass. So we want a sign there.
2. We will probably put a standing sign outside of the building to indicate the existence of this cafe.
3. There is a small hanging sign in front of the cafe. If you look at the photos again, you will see the hanging signs too. They are quite small and just outside of each store.
We want something inspired by the design of traditional Uzbek tea sets (see attached photo).
Please feel free to reach out with more questions/comments etc.
