I think the designer pretty much nailed what we were looking for and was very responsive to changes.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are livening up a dreary commercial intersection by hosting the new Cheverly Flea Market on a parking lot underneath where this sign will go. Audience includes the people driving by in cars - so they have to be able to see and understand the signage quickly, from a distance.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I need a pole banner sign that is bright and colorful, yet clean enough to be seen & understood quickly by drivers. This sign will be primarily 2 pieces, each a 3' x 10' vertical, vinyl sign that will flank the sides of a lamppost, hung side-by-side by brackets. The sign will say "Cheverly Flea Market" either vertically or horizontally, with an arrow pointing down to the parking lot below, perhaps stating "HERE!" somewhere on the sign. Two 'rider' signs (each 3' x 2') will sit below each main 3x10 panel, stating: 1) Saturdays 9 - 3; 2) For Space Call 202-270-2622; 3) VISIT US! and 4) JOIN US! I've attached my sketch here. We can use it exactly, or something similar. We can have the panels be the same, or different, or one be the inverse of the other in color, perhaps. I'm up for a few variations - or if you think of something much nicer altogether (but still just as colorful and visible from afar) I'd love to see it.
I think I'd like to try black text on yellow (perhaps outlined in a bright color), plus a rainbow of primary colors overall. Or perhaps make red the predominant color, I'm not sure. The primary goal is a clean look that's very visible from a distance, with a touch of artsy.
