dwwwwww got their new signage by running a design contest:
Car door sign for a driving school's training vehicle. Logo is provided
Check out dwwwwww's Signage contest…
We teach teenagers to drive. We prepare them to pass the California Department of Motor Vehicles driving exam by letting them drive our car for 3 two-hour sessions while we instruct them in the safe operation of a vehicle. Our customers are teens who live in our area of the Central Coast of California. We also teach the occasional adult here and there, but it's mostly high school kids.
What's your vision?
Signage for our training vehicle We need a magnetic sign that sticks on our car doors. It will contain nothing but our logo, our website address, and our phone number. We want a clean and uncluttered look where all 3 elements are easily recognized due to good use of whitespace. It's ok (and preferable) if you use a plain white background, but if you're feeling creative we will certainly consider other concepts. Please don't use "fun" fonts, we want normal lettering. Phone number (805) 474-0101 Whether to use parantheses and dashes or something else is left up to you as an artistic choice Website url DriveProDrivingSchool.com Please use this specific capitalization, no www.
Our logo is provided in .ai .eps. and .psd Since we're sending this to a printer, the final design document must adhere to specific dimensions. Document Trim Size 17.58" x 11.48" 447 x 292 mm 3077 x 2009 pixels We're going to use VistaPrint to print the signs so we ask the winner to handover the final design using the provided template for car door magnets (in either .psd or .ai) or download one at: http://www.vistaprint.com/vp/ns/propath/UploadResources.aspx?selectedTab=0 We have multiple cars that we use (which is why the signs will be magnets), so we don't want to the sign to be designed to a specific car. But if it helps your imagination, we currently use a 2013 Ford Focus hatchback and a 2005 Ford Mustang.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Signage starts at $199.
