1. Purpose and Opportunity
We are building a map-based property search portal – flatlocate, similar to Airbnb. Also, have a look at Rightmove and Zoopla. The property search portal allows users especially young professionals to look for rental and buying properties more effectively.
Think of Airbnb with a map and data grid. Instead of searching for short term accommodation, our web portal looks for long term house/flat rental/buying opportunities. There are 10+ buttons and filters like Garden, Parking, Modern, Balcony, number of beds, price, buy/rent/room/commercial, en suite etc, which when the users click, the list/map of properties will get filtered.
There is a need of having both a desktop and also a mobile version.
2. Target Audience
The target users are young professionals aged between 20 and 30. Other sets of target audiences are staff from estate agencies. Initially, users are based in the UK.")
