Task: To solve a list of problems with her Squarespace website. I offered an hour long zoom meeting with screenshare and solved those questions. This way the site got updated and the client could learn how to do those same things in the future. There was a technical hiccup which I solved on the spot
Results: Did live video training and a recording for future reference. Happy client!

Task: To set up all aspects of Squarespace Scheduling including creating new yoga classes, monthly subscriptions, integrate with Zoom conferencing, make sure that each individual gets a unique link and can only use their subscription for the number of classes included, collect payment, test it all and automate the entire process. Then, conduct a one-hour training teaching the entrepreneur how to replicate the system for future months.
Results: A smooth, automated set up of Squarespace Scheduling so a yoga business can sell individual as well as subscription packages for their online yoga classes.

Task: I was asked for help in making the shop page more user-friendly and organized so that the various training programs could be highlighted.
Results: Created a streamlined view of all training program offers by the studio. Did live video training to show how to navigate the 7.1 platform, gave design suggestions to improve site loading speed and better present all offers and finally answered questions on how to make the best of the features of Squarespace.

Task: To create a stylized full bleed shop page on Squarespace 7.0
Results: I used custom CSS to create a full-bleed effect on the Shop page to the liking of the client. This was a quick and fun project where I supplied royalty-free photos to create the athletic feel.

She had a bare bones site with text that she got started with and then brought me in to give it refreshing design and layout. Katia is based in NYC, my city of love, and it was a total delight to give her speed training via Zoom so she could be empowered to update her events and programs as well as blog.")

It is a historical website that covers the life and work of the renowned American astronomer, Harlow Shapley. I got commissioned to created this website in close collaboration with Dr. Shapley's granddaughter. I am involved in creating the many composite images and a big part of the project consists of cleaning up old archival photographs and presenting them on the site. It's most certainly the most graphic-design intensive project I have worked on and has been deeply rewarding.
There's a very user-friendly navigation in the footer which was important as there are individual pages dedicated to different parts of the astronomer's social and political activities, making it very easy to jump from one section to another. The Bibliography is a highlight as it contains over content from a 30 page PDF listing all of Shapley's writings. Anchor links allow the reader to jump to relevant sections instead of having to scroll the long bibliography.")

This client has gone on to create three other courses and hired me to set all of those up.
Squarespace can save entrepreneurs a lot of money and time while giving a streamlined experience to their students by having the course on the same domain as the rest of their website.")

The aim was to make a site that showcases the work of Hairducator in the best light and a blog page that allows for traffic generation through content marketing. I also helped her transfer her domain from an older Squarespace website to the new one and of course she got the 20% discount on her first year plan because of my Squarespace Authorized Trainer badge. These are Clare's words when the website was finished:
