I couldn't be happier with the cover. Saturn9 was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. Overall, the contest process works great for people like me. This was my second contest. I wish there was more info for contest holders about how the designers are paid—for example, the fact that each finalist gets 15% of the prize money is buried in the support section of the site. Do the other finalists' prizes cut into the amount the winner receives? Also, I didn't see any explanation of how to send a stock image to your designer after purchase (you have to do so outside the 99D messaging process). Finally, it would be helpful to explain to contest holders that you don't need to purchase an extended license to use a stock photo or illustration for a book cover (at least from iStock—read the fine print). The license covering "products for resale" means mugs, t-shirts, calendars, etc. The entry-level license explicitly covers books unless you plan total print runs of more than 500,000 units over the lifetime of the edition.
