I decided to lead with a bold orange color and play with the idea of having the main word mark be a sort of fluid mark. This would be able to represent many of the different facets and roles that this company can play for their clients.")

When I first saw the word \"Lure,\" I thought of things that \"draw you in.\" The two things that came to my mind were both fire and water. I can find myself entraced by both of these, whether it's a fireplace or firepit crackling, or rainfall and a waterfall. Both draw me in, but for different reasons.
This allowed me to juxtapose the passion and warmth of the reds with the cool and calmness of the blues, which in turn creates one unique feeling for the restaurant & lounge. My hope is that this brand will entice its clientele to stay and enjoy the night - perhaps sharing a few glasses of wine, as well.")

This of course made me want to play with the idea of an eye to signify the watchful nature of what it is that Tive's company does.
They are aware, perceptive, and insightful into what is going on within their sight and their reach. An eye was a natural way to portray this idea.
But what was it that they are aware of? They're aware of WHERE everything is - the location. This provided to opportunity to use a location pin to create our very own \"Eye of Sauron\" within the wordmark.
This eye -- unlike Sauron's eye -- is approachable and trustworthy and can stand as it's own to be distinctly belonging to Tive.
I'm wasn't completely sure what their UI looked like, but I thought that the location pin also gave an opportunity to even continue the eye motif in more places than just the logo.")

I sought to mimic the thin lines as well as add the circles with spots of color to complement the type of work that he created.")
