The key was updated for new tourism spots, and the map was done in color (original was in grayscale).
Since the original map was painted on board I tried to mimic some of the style by using Photoshop for the background layers. Illustrator was used for the top layers such as roads and text so everything would be sharp and still easily edited.")

This particular illustration is of a flooded valley with the top of a broken old wizard tower poking up from an inky dark lake, lighting bolts shooting down around the tower, mountains behind it forming a geo-political border.")

The color scheme needed to be subtle and warm (beige, cream, white, light brown), with a slightly feminine appeal.
I chose a neutral main font paired with a feminine cursive font. A swoosh was added to give an impression of movement, softness, and moisture. The fonts have been edited slightly to keep the logo unique even when the swoosh is removed.")

She had specific color preferences, and chose a loose sketched style. This is the second design of two the client wanted (prior design can also be seen in my portfolio).
I drew elements of nature entwined with her spirit animals and her hair, giving an impression of animals, plants, stars, moon, and sun rising up from within her.")

The yacht (a small super yacht) is moving fast through the water, waves frothing up around it. The smoke trailing behind it contains the expanded name in italic smoke-like writing. The shortened name is on the body of the yacht.")

"I'm surprised by the low the rating, the lowest I've ever had on here.
Working with images where sometimes the faces are barely visible, I think I've done a really good job. I've always been available for further editing at no cost and am always open to client suggestions."
