I remember when I was first starting out in a business-to-business services company like 15 years ago. The internet was still growing and all the terminology seemed so daunting.
I think the easiest way to ease that apprehension is to wrap your services in a friendly face, which also aesthetically breaks you away from the rest of the pack (and makes you more memorable).
I decided the best mark for y'all would be a cute, light, and memorable custom wordmark designed to look good surrounded in welcoming colors.
Service orgs have to adapt to the new web 3.0 look, and this will set Savvy ahead of the rest.

I felt a print company logo and wordmark should showcase some CMYK overprint color theory.
The limey color palette is vivid and modern with fresh greens and dark neutrals.
The Es also make a nice avatar for social media, where the evolving edge wordmark could be in the cover photo.")

I added a wood-tone to orange gradient on it to soften it up a bit and make it more attractive to high-end home owners who are more aesthetic oriented.
Hardwood floors are gorgeous installations and I felt they should have a beautiful mark to match.
It also looks pretty cool on a t-shirt so their crew will look styling in the field.")

I wanted to create a mark with multiple meta-meanings.
Space is the known universe. We all occupy and are space at the same time. A studio is simply space set aside for design.
So I designed space that winks at its own nature.
This custom lettering is made to maximize the white space around it, and goes to the edge of the canvas to show that it sets the periphery of the space.
When someone sees this they'll ask 'What is space?', and then the real conversation can begin.")

I wanted to bring the feeling of that composite wholeness into the wordmark, so I crafted these 'FOAM' letter glyphs after eyeballing the photo of the couch in the attached PDF.
Out of a dozen or so variations of this idea, I chose this one for its readability while retaining the sense that it was formed of soft sectional segments.
The hue is a purple toned light neutral, and was pulled from a sample in that photo.
I think it hits all the targets of being fun but not childlike, modern without being too mod.")

In order for an app to work people need to understand at a glance that it IS an app, and what it can help you with.
So piggybacking on the equity of apps like uber and google maps, we borrow a pin, combine it with a golf ball on a tee, and give a shadow that turns the tee into an abstract 'T' for Tetro.
Now we combine green and blue for the rolling greens under a sunny blue sky, and voila, we have a golf tee time app.")

I saw a talk bubble in the original logo attached to the design brief and I feel adding it as a stylized 'O' gives this comic book cover title an extra layer of meaning and added propositional density, better communicating to potential customers!")

I made these letters on a grid, rounded the corners, added a drop-accent layer, and gave it a bit of an arch to make it a self-contained badge (of sorts).
Simple, evocative of that Spanish flavor, and with a color palette that lends itself to a modern, understated bistro.")
