\"Looking for a simple and minimalist design (e.g., white-ish background) with an image and/or title that \"pops\" on the front cover. I'd like a cover that is professional and serious, yet catchy and modern for a broad audience.\"
Design Proposal:
Clean, clear, professional yet playful and thought-provoking. The visual story on the front extends to the back subtly to add some interest and character to the elaborate blurb.")

\"The book, although about a mass murder, is more about the community it affects than the actual act. I'd prefer the cover to be subtle to reflect this; i.e. no blood or gore or anything like that. As I won't be specifically using the word \"shooting\" in the blurb, the cover will need to convey it instead. No gore.\"
Design Proposal:
A minimal yet powerful cover that conveys the subject the story visually.
The paper and typewriter font suggests the context of 'high school' in the story; sporadic bullet holes with blood stains to suggest the tragic event of the mass shooting.")

Target Audience: \"Those interested in understanding the racial divide in the US and how to overcome it.\"
Design Needs:
\"I want the cover to convey something related to the theme/topic, with the idea of us really working to overcome the impact of racism. If we can have a subtle connection to Trump, that would be interesting.\"
Design Proposal:
Striking red paint to emphasise and highlight the word 'Trumping' - relates to Trump and the Republican Party and also represents the passion and intensity of the topic on racism, maybe could even be represent as blood which could symbolise that we all shed the same blood despite our skin colour and literal blood shed over the war/ issue on racism especially in America.
Edited playing cards with black and white suits to represent the racial divide and relates to \"trumping\".
The vintage paper background reinforces that the topic on racism is an age-old issue.")

\"In the everyday life, I try to have a “minimalist” material approach. I try to have few things but to grant many importance to the function of the objects and the emotion that they get to me, in particular through their esthetics. I like the contemporary and refined things. I would wish that the logo fall under this idea and concept.\"
Design Proposal:
The ovals are derived from the company's name, Ovalice. I designed 4 different forms of ovals to represent the company's 4 different \"essential values\" based form the brief: Protection and assistance. Moral and ethics. Clarity and transparency. Rigor and technical skills.
The client wanted aqua tones which I then complemented with gold accents for a warmer and more luxurious appeal.")

I'm a multidisciplinary designer exploring a bit of everything. I have a degree in Interior and Spatial Design from the University of the Arts London and and academic background in Art and Design. I enjoy creating simple graphics yet conveying depth or some flair to the narrative ~
