I feel that a vast mountain landscape gives a sense of awe and wanted to depict a scene with such characteristics. The trees serve as a foreground element and function as negative space. The negative space allows the window frames to extend down guiding the viewer's eye toward the company's name.")

I decided to use the mountains to accent the popcorn, which towers above and behind the highest summit. I felt this an appropriate way to illustrate the name \"Summit\" while at the same time feature the popcorn.")

I thought of a pocket watch as I designed the ball and decided that a miniature golf course being kept inside was a unique design for a unique trait. The text is built from the ground up. I gave it the 3D-like drop shadows to help push it out from the image and to give it a sense of popping out of the ball.")

The text is a custom creation where I created it to have a slight slant considering the word \"KICKSTART\". The arrows that from the K's are to further illustrate movement along with the subtly widening gaps between the slanted lines. I gave the text bold outlines and small highlights to help it pop a bit more. The racer mascot was created to have a look of readiness and confidence. Although it tends toward the more masculine side, I created it to be gender neutral and without a specific skin color given the diversity of the community it should be representing. I also placed the mascot on the left side of the text to add further balance to the overall logo.")
