The logo had to be more feminine than masculine, so I went for purple-pink shades and feminine shapes. The main idea is that the teacher is showing the student what beauty is, therefore the amazed face shape on the left. I chose a circular shape to create a calm and friendly atmosphere.
We worked on the typography with the CH and he/she wanted lead separated while the other two words united.

The CH asked for a clean, flat and friendly logo. They didn't have yet a precise idea on how the logo should look and trusted us on creating original ideas. I decided to go for visualising the company name - Surf Around, in such a way that the waves would create a Wi-Fi symbol.
I decided that the logo should be circle-shaped in order to create the friendliness that the CH asked for. Negative Spacing helped to make the logo clean and simple.")

1. A wallet (Batua means wallet, as stated by the CH)
2. A Rupee (Indian currency symbol)
3. A sim card.
I created a custom Rupee symbol (the CH wanted it to look different yet recognisable) and made it resemble a sim card. I also used negative space for a clean and simple look.")

About
While still a teenager I used to design for the local underground hardcore music scene. I did all the work for free, me being a part of it myself and friends with most of the musicians. That was sort of a charity act from me into the further growing of the local underground music industry.
Now I'm 20, studying Graphic Design at Oxford Brookes, UK. I've been working as a freelancer for some good years now with hundreds of customers from all around the world.
