As we worked through the design challenges presented by the variety of dimensions of her work, Nissa proved to be a responsive and down-to-earth collaborator. In the space of just a few live screen share sessions, we had come up with the perfect solution for presenting her paintings. We knew we wanted something light and airy to complement Nissa's elegant use of negative space throughout her work, so when we discovered the beauty of the subtle feather and bird background images, the rest of the design came together naturally.
We are extremely proud of this site, and it was such a pleasure to collaborate with Nissa.")

The shop came to us with two goals: to roll out their sweet new branding, and to create a more workable solution for maintaining the e-commerce side of the business. After LightPress snapped the basic design into place, Something Blue went right to work selling online. We are happy to report that with a lot of organizational strategy and a little training from LightPress, this adorable site and online shop are fully self-maintained by the client.

Mafic manufactures a unique, sustainably harvested composite material made from fiber extruded from raw basalt rock. This fiber's extraordinary lightness and tensile strength characteristics make it ideal for the fabrication of windmill blades and aerospace parts, in addition to its applications for construction and insulation technology.
LightPress helped Mafic to upgrade its clunky, outdated Wordpress site to a sleek, mobile-responsive Squarespace site befitting of its next-generation product line.
