The site design involved sourcing new images, matching the colour scheme and fonts to the logo, and designing customised icons and favicon. It was important to maintain a clean look with plenty of white background, and easy navigation around the site for visitors.")

The existing design was limited in terms of functionality, and MKLC Training wanted a 'fresher' look, as well as an online enrolment and e-commerce function to streamline some of the administration for online enrolments.
Hot Lizard Designs set up an online store with customised icons to promote courses, enrolment forms that are sent directly to one designated email address, an online chat feature for visitor queries, a blog page that links to all their social media sites, and set up and integrated an independent student review application to build consumer trust.")

The site has a long scrolling page, so visitors can see what WL Content Labs can do. There are customised icons, client testimonials, a blog page, as well as more customised elements such as coloured backgrounds and line separators. All in all, it’s a great looking website that has a strong brand presence.")

This included a scrolling main banner, customised images that link to online stores, embedded YouTube videos and music streaming sites, and custom coding to ensure the design mapped his exact expectations when it came to font sizes and colour scheme.
The end result is a clean, minimalist website that highlights the music and accompanying videos and merchandise.")

Overall, they wanted a website with a clean look, that was easy to navigate, something that they were able to update themselves, and appealed to their target market of online savvy women.
The purpose of the website was to provide general information about trades and trades training; provide information and registration details for events; and to promote stories and latest news from their sponsors and supporters.
The finished website design incorporates a scrolling gallery on the landing page to showcase the different areas of the website. Images have been given an overlay colour to tie in with the branding, and the events and blog pages have also been customised to fit with the purple theme.")

In order to keep costs down, he was happy for the overall design to be completed by Hot Lizard Designs, and then confident to make minor adjustments later on.
The design brief was to focus on the book, as well as capture email addresses for special promotions, free resources, and a free chapter download. These were set up behind a password-protected page, with the password emailed through once visitors had submitted their email address.
James also wanted to make sure that testimonials for his book stood out, and so we came up with a dark blue background with white writing that matched his book colour scheme - both eye-catching and cohesive at the same time.")

After a brief consultation and further email correspondence, a new template design was chosen that better suited their needs.
Additional features such as music playing on the Home Page, an interactive telephone number for mobile users, scrolling images, and Google maps with nearby attractions were utilised to give this site more of a 'wow' factor for visitors.")

They already had a Squarespace website, but needed help to take it to the next level.
Hot Lizard Designs customised buttons and headers to match the logo branding, linked images to property pages and neighbourhoods, and added video tours and scrolling galleries to showcase each property.")

It wasn't visually appealing, and was difficult to navigate.
By changing over to Squarespace and customising a template, HLD achieved a cleaner, more modern look that showcased both the artwork and life history of Leon Trousset.
This involved sourcing high definition images of paintings where possible, as well as redesigning the layout of suggested tours by incorporating Google maps for a more visual experience.")

The original website was dated, not mobile responsive, difficult to navigate, and did not display images well.
The redesign incorporated a lot of different features, from online registration and payments for the annual Clyde to Alexandra race, to more visual displays on upcoming events, race results, and blog posts of recent walks / runs.")

HLD set up a different site using Squarespace, with a clean look to display a sample of the products that she was able to offer, and to encourage customers to contact her for details.
The products and galleries are set up so that Lesa has complete flexibility on when and how to update her product offering. There were also some customisation of the site to tie in with the branding colours and how the products were displayed in 'quick view'.

The site was too corporate and didn't have a consistent feel, or reflect her personality.
The redesign was a complete change of template to a more blog-centric design, a consistent theme for each page, a change of fonts and colour palette, and a new landing page that incorporated Twitter and Instagram feeds.")
