This was my first contest with 99Designs, and I was very happy with the results. I'm designing a book for a client and needed an illustration for the cover. I received dozens of concepts that were very good. After a few rounds of revisions, I was able to choose an illustrator (GinaIlustra) who easily made the last round of edits needed before we could close out the project. One thing I would have done differently is to specify the final size of the art needed in the project brief. Luckily, the size I received is good for our purposes. Most importantly, my client is really happy.
