Brief:
A young couple in the city has their world turned upside down when Lindsay begins suffering from nightmares, hallucinations, and other peculiar occurrences. As Dan (a student of Christian studies) tries to help Lindsay, it becomes apparent that the situation has evolved. The Great Awakening has started.

Alien Invasion / "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" - bookended - when Lindsay walks out at the beginning of the movie, she feels something is off... an alien takes over her being/body, and she kills her loved ones. When she walks out at the end of the movie, she acknowledges the neighbors - who have also all been taken over.
