The company was looking for an updated look for their logo, without wandering too far from it.
This logo builds from the previous logo in the sense that it encompasses the same forwards-motion, and uses a similar duo tone. What is great about that, is that the existing customer base will feel some familiarity and connection with your existing and developing brand, even though the logo is a complete revamp.
The logo is based upon steady, strong text that is easily legible at any size. It also makes use of negative space in the form of an arrow within the letters, also conveying your state-of-the-art technology - always forging ahead.
The arrowhead is again reflected in the icon, which separates E from B, even though they are a unit.
