Crucial Guitar Basics is essentially a primer. It is an introduction to key aspects of the guitar, such as it's make up, where to buy one and aspects of playing such as key chords and scales. It is NOT however a tuition book as such. It is a distilation of useful things to know based on over 40 years of playing the instrument.
