Client requested a fun smiling car mascot logo for their on demand transportation company called Purple Car. I settled on a cute cartoonish aesthetic that is still minimalistic enough to be used as a logo.

For the font I used a bold typeface with some playfulness to it in order to match the mascot. I then added some shading for a bit of depth and played around with the spacing and rotation of the letters in order to minimize any unwanted negative space.

The dark border serves to both bring blend the text and mascot together seamlessly, as well as create some contrast to the letters. As such it would also be perfect for a sticker or car vinyl, as the client mentioned they would be using it in this way.

Finally, I also added it as a preview on a dark background in order to show it would also definitely work in that configuration.
